In case of discomfort and\/or post-op pain, you may use over-the-counter painkillers to control the pain. You can expect swelling and bruising in the treatment area. These disappear within a few weeks. For the first week after surgery, do not wear turtlenecks or hold your phone to your earlobes. Protect the skin from the sun and do not rub your ears. In most cases, it is not necessary to take time off. You will schedule the surgery by mutual agreement toward the end of the week so that you have time during the weekend to rest and recover.
